At the AGM four current directors were re-elected with Aidie Adams. Many thanks to Sue Cox for her time on the board and we wish her well as lady captain along with Tom McInnes men’s captain and Colin McComb, senior men’s captain.
The Board has discussed the current Government guidelines with regard to our risk assessment for the clubhouse and we have decided face masks are not mandatory but do wear one if you wish. If guidelines change you will be informed.
We have recently contacted our Insurance regarding the 3rd Hole and
the new Housing Development alongside the 3rd Fairway.
There is a note in the members area stating the situation and what to do
regarding any golf balls which go beyond our boundary .Please
familiarise yourselves with this and any questions please speak to Steve
or Darren.
Congratulations to Mike Love for winning the free year’s membership in the Christmas draw held last Saturday. A list of all the winners can be found in the news section of the website as well as the clubhouse.
Club calendars are still available at £5 so please ask at the office or the bar
The captain’s drive in and putt out will be on Sunday 9th January. There will be a golf competition in the morning with the drive in at about 1pm. There will be the opportunity to guess the distances driven by the three captains at £1 each proceeds going to captain’s charity or charities. Much will depend on any new restrictions brought in by the government.
The clubhouse will be only be closed on Christmas day.
