RYDE GOLF CLUB MANAGEMENT MEETING AGENDA

Approval of minutes of last meeting: Golf committee meetings minutes only draft
so need to be removed and improved.
Matters Arising:
insurance renewal signed. Hole in one no longer covered. Members to be made
aware that it is no longer covered.
Sign in place in car park
Light in hallway fixed.
Buggy shed still needs securing
New mower due this week.
Cherry picker has been in and some work done but a tree surgeon is required for
further work.
Further discussion on Country / Away membership proposals agreed and
competitions to be included will be added shortly.
Chair Report:
H and S procedure discussed and reviewed. Suggestions and alterations made and
will return to DH.
AGM to be held Monday 12 th December 2022. Information to be out to members by
14 th November 2022.
Any proposals to be put forward by November 21 st . Votes can be postal or proxy if
not present at the AGM.
Deep clean required in kitchen Laura to plan.
Sacha to take charge of the shop.
Finance Report:
Report was discussed
Report on website
Food and drink prices to increase in line with increase in costs.
Some discussion about Seniors / Ladies sections having separate accounts.
Course Report:
Mower arriving this week. Keep old mower for extra work / spares.
Trees and tees still to be paid for. Bunkers will be next year’s budget.
7 th and 18 th tee mats to be purchased by Senior section.
Monday club doing things that have been agreed and AS will be invited to Greens
committee meetings.
HR report
Reviews continuing. SW and PW to keep regular hours through Jan-Mar, DB to take
some paid and some unpaid holiday LM to start earlier and finish earlier to cover
8am start.
Issues about security when smoking/ working alone to be solved by hive bell to
replace physical bell.
Bar / Social Report:
In for a penny will be drawn at the Christmas party on Sat 3 rd December, tickets need
to be sold. (200 left).
Health and Safety
DH to consult a variety of members of staff over the next few weeks and be included
in any health and safety issues.

Right hand locker building is not in good shape so professional opinions are being
gathered.
Heating in the clubhouse needs to be looked at. Plumbers to be invited in to give
quotes and ideas.
